What is TEPCO CRIMIAL TRIAL?

This is the only trial asking for the criminal liability over the meltdown of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant’s reactor triggered by the earthquake and tsunami in March 11, 2011.
The Defendants are three former Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco) executives, Chairman Tsunehisa Katsumata and Vice Presidents Ichiro Takekuro and Sakae Mutō. Their crime is their negligence over the worst atomic disaster of Fukushima nuclear power plant in history.
The Tokyo High Court as well as the lower court judged them not guilty. The designated attorneys thought the judgement is unfair, so are now making a final appeal.
